Robert F. Petrosky, 73, of North Catasauqua, died Nov. 7, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital-Anderson campus. He was the husband of Donna M. (Holzer) Petrosky for 54 years.

Born in Hazelton, he was a son of the late Frank and Agnes (Betley) Petrosky.

He was a Whitehall High School graduate.

He worked for the Reading Railroad, Conrail, and eventually retired after 42 years from Norfolk Southern as a yardmaster.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whitehall.

He was part of the railroad retirees breakfast meetings and playing in various golf leagues.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Martina M. Schannauer and husband Steve and Kimberly A. and husband Timothy Marhefka; a son, Robert A. and partner Marissa Rotz; a brother, James and wife Penny; three sisters, Lorraine Smicker and husband Larry, Mary Lou Sodl and husband Dave and Patricia DeLucas and husband Marc; two grandchildren, Sarah and Rachel Schannauer; nieces; nephews; and friends.
