Dorothy Marie Baer, formerly of Schnecksville and Whitehall, died Nov. 9, 2023, at Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation, Allentown.

Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth (Lelko) Kohut.

She was a library secretary at Whitehall-Coplay Middle School for almost 30 years.

She is survived by a son, Scott and wife Christi of Lewes, Del.; two daughters, Heidi of Schnecksville, with whom she recently resided, and Holly and husband David Thaler of Stroudsburg; four granddaughters, Nicole and husband Nathan Hower, Samantha and husband Troy Gibson, Emily Thaler and Faith and husband Jacob August; and five great-grandchildren, Peyton, Kendall and Avery Hower and Tenley and Elliott Gibson.
