Lehigh and Moore elementary schools will continue their Scholastic book fairs through Nov. 21.

Parent-teacher conferences for elementary students’ parents/guardians will occur Nov. 20 and 21. There will be no school on these days for elementary students.

On Nov. 22, Northampton Area School District teachers have an in-service, so there will be no classes for all grades.

NASD will be closed for Thanksgiving break, Nov. 23-27.

Classes will resume Nov. 28.

Mark your calendar: Northampton Borough Elementary School will hold a winter orchestra, band and chorus concert, set for 7-8:30 p.m. Dec. 5 in the auditorium at Northampton Area High School.

Moore invites you to remember our veterans by participating in a Wreaths Across America drive.

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, this organization’s mission is to remember, honor and reach by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as more than 1,400 additional locations in all 50 states, at sea and abroad.

The wreaths will be placed Dec. 16. Moore supports Cedar Hill Memorial Park, off Airport Road in Allentown.
