Hanover Township Community Center’s “PicklePalooza” drew more than 20 teams on Saturday, October 28.

Linda Grigg teamed with Dante Terenzio to finish with a record of 5-0 en route to the tournament title. Finishing runner-up with a record of 5-2 was Ted Donatelli and Richard Wisnoski. Third-place finishers Tom Kelly and Cheryl Ashcroft went 6-2, while the fourth-place team of John Huennekens and Sally Ross finished 4-2.

Other notable records on the day, in order of finish, were: Greg Dennis-Barbara Helm (3-2); Miller Hall-Caroline Saucer (2-2); Dave Veleber-Karen Smickley (2-2); Richard Demko-Linda Kichline (2-2); Roger Washburn-Lynne Calvo (3-2); Fred Kitchen-Kathy Garcsar (2-2); Dave Eveland-Heidi Dennis (2-2).

While the sport continues to grow throughout the Lehigh Valley, Hanover Township looks ahead to the installation of four, new outdoor courts - and more tournament play in the spring.
