Karen L. Kressley, 54, of New Tripoli, died peacefully Nov. 7, 2023, at her residence.

She and her husband, Gary M. Kressley III, were married 32 years.

Born Oct. 15, 1969, in Allentown, she was the daughter of Joyce E. (Gaugler) Hausman of York and the late Charles R. Hausman.

She was a hospice administrator at Ascend Hospice for two years before retiring in 2018.

Before that, she worked for Heartland Hospice for 10 years.

She loved camping and spending time with friends and family.

In addition to her loving husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Katelyn Lee Folk and her husband, Kyle, of New Tripoli; siblings Brenda L. Midkiff and her husband, Michael, of Thomasville, Timothy A. Hausman and his wife, Patricia, of Orefield, and Betty J. Pataccoli and her husband, John, of Salem, Ore.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Nov. 11 at Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc. 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.

Family and friends may pay their respects 6-8 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.
