William F. Malitsch, 85, of Coplay, died Nov. 6, 2023. He was the husband of Myrtle (Moyer) Malitsch for 61 years.

Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late Charles J. and Mary (Solderitch) Malitsch.

He was a laborer for the former A&B Meats, Allentown. He retired from Knauss Foods Inc., Quakertown, in 2004.

He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

He was a former member of Coplay Saengerbund and American Club of Coplay.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Maryann Stair and husband Fred, Roseann Zeppenfelt and husband Mark and Lisa Fisher and companion Tim Weidner; a son, William C. and wife Terri; five grandchildren, Rachel, Erica, Jacob, Sara and T.J.; and two great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by eight brothers, Charles, Joseph, Louis, John, Frank, Stephen, Anthony and Gregory; and four sisters, Theresa Schweitzer, Mary Luckenbach, Rose Wagner and Anna Searfoss.

There will be services 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m., Nov. 9 at the church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay.
