Hokendauqua: Faith to hold Nov. 11 craft fair

Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, will hold its annual craft fair and quilt sale, scheduled for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 11.

Whitehall Fire Department is hosting a Miller-Keystone Blood Center blood drive, planned for 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 12 in the social hall of Egypt Fire Station, 4099 Kuhn Lane.

Appointments are required, and you must bring photo identification with your first and last name.

Pink Pumpkins Coins 4 Chemo will be holding its annual holiday fest food drive 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 18 at Teamsters Local 773 Union Hall, 3614 Lehigh St. Pink Pumpkins is accepting nonperishable and canned foods, hams, turkeys, chickens and grocery gift cards.

There will also be a basket social, a craft and vendor fair, door prizes and special prizes for donations.

There is no admission charge for this event.

For 2023, there are only two more open houses at Whitehall Historical Preservation Society’s Helfrich Springs Grist Mill and Peter Grim Homestead, 501 and 506 Mickley Road, respectively.

They are scheduled for 1-3 p.m. Nov. 19 and Dec. 17.

First Presbyterian Church of Hokendauqua, 3005 S. Front St., will host a Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative free community meal 4-6 p.m. Nov. 21 for low-income Whitehall and Coplay residents. The meal is guaranteed for the first 100 guests.
