Dennis D. Schaffer, 72, of Breinigsville, died Oct. 29, 2023.

He was the widower of Judith S. (Kloiber) Schaffer.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Willis and Pauline (Faust) Schaffer.

A farmer all his life in Upper Macungie Township, he was a member of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.

He was a member at Zeigels United Church of Christ in Breinigsville.

He spent his life committed to family, God and his land, farming was not just his job, it was his way of life.

He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed.

His survivors include children Amy Leibenguth (Troy) of Fogelsville and David Schaffer of Breinigsville; companion Linda Leibenguth; grandchildren Logan, Mantana, Kayla and Jenna; and sister Jean Smith (Bill) of Zionsville, Ind.

He was predeceased by a grandson, Evan Schaffer.

Visitation will take place 9-11 a.m. Nov. 4 at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville.

The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.

Interment at Fogelsville Union Cemetery.
