Northampton Area Public Library: Library board, staff, Friends group appreciate your support

The online auction and basket social have come and gone. With the chaos behind us, we now look forward to a wonderful holiday season and are grateful for the gifts we have been given. On behalf of the Northampton Area Public Library board of trustees, Friends of NAPL group and staff, we thank you all for the support you’ve show us this year and every year.

As we reflect on the blessings we’ve received, let us also bless others in our community. Our turkey will be available for plucking soon, each feather containing a particular nonperishable item for Northampton Area Food Bank. The food bank is unable to accept items that are expired. Consider giving to the food bank through your donations, both during the holidays and at all times of the year.

Looking for a delicious little gift for over the coming holidays? Look no further than our gourmet fudge from Island Expressions and Galyean’s Deli. Available in half-pound and 1-pound boxes. Flavors include chocolate, cookies and cream, chocolate nut, maple nut, peanut butter, peanut butter chocolate, peanut butter explosion, turtle, vanilla and vanilla chocolate swirl.

Orders must be in by Nov. 25. Pickup will be 11 a.m. Dec. 11.

Speaking of gifts and good times, the Friends group is hosting a Sip N’ Shop event, set for 6-8 p.m. Dec. 1. Local artisans will be available to fill all your holiday needs.

Presale tickets are available at the desk. Each ticket includes finger foods and two glasses of wine.
