Democrat
Julie Tamerler
I am the only lawyer in the race, with experience in civil, criminal, and family law. I currently serve as Special Master in Divorce with the Court of Common Pleas, where I issue decisions in contested divorce cases. I preside over hearings where I take testimony, rule on objections, and decide issues of both fact and law. I’ve published scholarly work in academic and trade journals regarding matters of criminal and civil rights law. I have conducted my campaign with the highest level of integrity, refusing to accept any campaign contributions from lawyers to avoid conflicts of interest.

Michael Faulkner
My experience. I have worked in the Justice system to uphold the law for 35 years. For the past 12 years I’ve handled thousands of cases as the MDJ. Experience with a thorough understanding of the law and common sense allow me to understand how decisions I make in the courtroom affect public safety and the community. I have set up programs unique to my court to help victims as well as others struggling with crisis in their life. I have been named chairman of a newly created statewide behavioral health office to implement these programs across the state.
