The Bethlehem Area School Board, with a contract with Alloy5 architects, is moving forward with the Fountain Hill ES reconstruction project. The public was notified of the agreement at the Oct. 23 meeting, and the design and construction of the school will be priced not to exceed $2.3 million.

The board also approved grant submissions for the Power of Families Grant, PHEAA Helps Grant, and Wind Creek Grant for Donegan ES.

A number of revisions have been approved as part of an ongoing effort to update district then policies. Presented at the Human Resource Committee meeting for discussion and readings, the project is expected to take several months to complete.

The next regular board meeting will be Nov. 20, with committee meetings proceeding Nov. 6 and 13.
