Warren E. Hollinger, 70, of Kempton, died peacefully in his home on Oct. 21, 2023, with his loving wife and close family by his side.
He and his wife, Marjorie A. (Spangler) Hollinger, shared more than 36 years of marriage.
Born in Annville, he was the son of Harold Hollinger and the late Joan (Landis) Hollinger.
A self-employed farmer in Kempton since 1986, he previously drove truck for the former B&R Trucking Co, Quakertown.
He was a member of the Kempton Fire Company.
In addition to his devoted wife and father, his survivors include daughter Alicia (Erin) O’Neil-Mertz of Nine Mile Falls, Wash.; son Brett L. Hollinger of Slatington; sisters Jean M. (Lee) McCullough of Morristown, Fla., Sharon A. (Steve) Meck of Lenhartsville, and Brenda L. Smith of Ocala, Fla.; half-brother, Harold E. Hollinger Jr. of Topton; two grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, fantastic farmhand and adopted son, Levi Veppert, and many friends.
His memorial service will be 11 a.m. Oct. 28 in Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli.
Calling hour begins 10 a.m. The Rev. Stanley Newton will officiate.
