Frank Szukics, 87, of Breinigsville, died Oct. 16, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He was the husband of Judith A. (Kaintz) Szukics.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Louis J. and Dorothy V. (Fatzinger) Szukics.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Employed at Bethlehem Fabricators, Mack Trucks and later in the fundraising business for many years, both in the Lehigh Valley and in South Carolina, he retired from Nestle.
He coached bowling for many years for P.A.L., and also served on the Lehigh Valley Bowlers Association.
Early on, he was involved with SPYA and was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Fogelsville.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Joseph Szukics and his wife, Jennifer; the love of his life, his granddaughter, Macy, who never forgot her Pop on Veterans Day and had a homemade card or poster for him; sisters Catherine Sams, Beverly Becker and her husband, Steve, Patricia Krause and Shirley Szukics; brothers Dave and Bruce Szukics; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, June Szukics, and his brother, Larry Szukics.
