Trick or treat!

Ghosts, goblins, witches, warlocks, superheros and princesses roamed the grounds of Fellowship Community, 3000 Fellowship Drive, Whitehall, Oct. 19. This yearly Halloween event is for the children of staff and grandchildren of residents of the seniors facility.

Residents, provided with candy to give to the trick-or-treaters, lined the walkway to the entrance as the children approached them for treats.

“This annual event draws nearly 200 children. The staff and residents look forward to it,” said Kim Cseh, events activities coordinator.

In addition to trick-or-treating, children also had the opportunity to visit animals at a petting zoo set up on the grounds and make crafts.

“This is the first year for the petting zoo,” Cseh said.

Some adults and residents also dressed in costumes, adding to the festive atmosphere.
