A 41-year-old male, of Coopersburg, was arrested Oct. 3 for allegedly striking another person in the face at a location along Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The male allegedly struck the other person Oct. 1, according to authorities.
DUI
A 29-year-old female, of Allentown, was placed under arrest for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the area of the intersection of Chestnut Street and Beck Road, Upper Milford Township, 4:20 a.m. Aug. 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Scam
A resident of Fieldview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, was swindled out of $180 while trying to purchase college football tickets through social media, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Sept. 20.
Identity theft
A resident of Aster Road, Lower Macungie Township, learned a credit card account was opened using their personal information and a pending charge of $747 was made, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Aug. 9 after the resident spoke to the credit card company about the unauthorized charge.
Retail theft
A 33-year-old male and a 34-year-old female, both of Corona, N.Y., allegedly removed merchandise valued at $7,525.30, from retailer Ulta Beauty, 833 N. Krocks Road, Suite 103, Lower Macungie Township, 2:31 p.m. Oct. 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Accident
A Pennsburg motorist was hurt when his vehicle crashed into an embankment in the 8800 block of Kings Highway South, Lower Milford Township, 7:33 a.m. Oct. 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist lost control on a left curve, according to authorities. The motorist was taken to the hospital for treatment and the car was towed from the crash scene.
