Mary Jane “MJ” Welliver, 72, of Whitehall, died Oct. 15, 2023, at home.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late R. Alexander and E. Jane (Bauer) Dickel.
She was a 1968 graduate of Olney High School. She earned an associate degree from the Community College of Philadelphia in 1970.
She was an administrative assistant of Plantique Inc., until she retired. She was an independent home consultant at Longaberger.
She attended Faith Church and Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, both in Allentown, and St. Matthew’s Evangelical Congregational Church, Emmaus.
She is survived by two sons, Scott and his wife Michelle and Paul and his wife Lynn; five grandchildren, Chase, Savannah, Hope, Leah and Brooke; a brother, Alan Dickel and his wife Joni; two stepsisters, Merrie Coates and Marleen Heintz; and friends.
There will be a memorial service 3 p.m. Nov. 26 at Bethany United Methodist Church, 1208 Brookside Road, Allentown, 18106. It is requested you wear something purple.
