Kathy Henderson, of Slatington, is one of the vendors at Harvest Fest, held Oct. 14 at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, Whitehall. Henderson authored a book titled “The Stages of Me,” which chronicles her fight against chronic illness and encourages others to not give up their own battles.
This group of family, friends and co-workers spend the afternoon together to support Pink Pumpkins Coins 4 Chemo during Bags and Bucks bingo. Pink Pumpkins raises funds to provide financial assistance for daily living expenses of cancer patients currently undergoing treatment. The organization was founded in 2014 by cancer survivor DeeAna Bedics.
