Oct. 31 is the end of the marking period for secondary grades. Report cards will be available Nov. 10 on the Sapphire Community Portal.

Reminder: Join Borough Elementary School families for a night on the farm 6-8 p.m. Oct. 26 at Valley Fruits and Vegetables, 5309 Colony Drive, Bethlehem. Families can decorate their cars for a trunk or treat. There will also be a glow maze and a play area.

There is a cost for both parents and children. Pumpkins, food and the barrel train are an extra charge.

Fall picture retake days are set for Nov. 1 at Lehigh Elementary School; Nov. 2 at Moore Elementary; Nov. 3 at George Wolf Elementary School; and Nov. 9 at the Siegfried and Franklin buildings.

These days are for students who missed their original picture days.

In conjunction with students’ Veterans Day celebrations, Moore Elementary invites you to remember our veterans by participating in a Wreaths Across America drive.

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, this organization’s mission is to remember, honor and reach by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as more than 1,400 additional locations in all 50 states, at sea and abroad.

Dec. 16 will be the date the wreaths are placed. Moore supports Cedar Hill Memorial Park, off Airport Road in Allentown.
