Trick or treat will be held 6-8 p.m. Oct. 27 in Coplay Borough. The rain date is Oct. 28.

Reminder: St. John’s Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St., will hold a shepherd’s pie drive-thru dinner, planned for 4-5:30 p.m. Oct. 28. The menu includes shepherd’s pie, creamed cabbage, applesauce or fruit cup, roll and dessert.
Preorders were required by Oct. 20.

St. John’s Lutheran Church is planning to hold a youth Halloween party 9 a.m. Oct. 29 in the social hall. Learn how Halloween traditions grew, sing pumpkin songs, play fun games, make a craft and have snacks.
The event is open to Sunday school members and their friends, no matter if they are church members or not.

Coplay Food Bank, located in the lower level of the municipal building, is open 8:30-10 a.m. the second Tuesday of every month.
If you are unable to attend the scheduled Tuesday morning time frame, call Jodi at 610-262-0928 to make other arrangements.
The food bank needs coffee, spaghetti sauce and noodles, canned pasta, rice pouches and non-sweetened dry cereals. Monetary donations are always accepted.

Explorer Post 101’s mission is to promote interest in the hobby of model railroading to 12- to 21-year-olds. Meetings are 7-9 p.m. Thursdays on the second floor of the municipal building, 98 S. Fourth St.

Coplay American Legion Post 426 has an special mailbox in front of the Post at 134 S. Second St. Worn-out American flags can be deposited into the mailbox for the Post to properly destroy the flags.
