The Salisbury High School football team fell to Pine Grove 31-0 last Friday night.
The Cardinals took a 10-point lead in the first quarter and added a pair of touchdowns in the second period to take a 24-0 lead into halftime. A fourth-qaurter touchdown produced the final score.
Pine Grove quarterback Evan Karenda completed just three passes in the game, but two of them went for touchdowns as senior Owen Hannevig and Lane Lehman caught one each.
Lehman rushed for 163 yards on 28 carries and scored a rushing touchdown to go along with his receiving score.
Salisbury statistics from the game were not received by the Press.
The Falcons have two games remaining on their schedule. This Friday night they return to Schuylkill County for a game against North Schuylkill.
The Spartans are coming off their second loss of the season, a 48-24 setback to unbeaten Palmerton last week.
