Center for Animal Health & Welfare

Animals are available for adoption at the Center for Animal Health & Welfare no-kill shelter, 1165 Island Park Road, Easton. Nine-month-old Ruger is a boxer mix who is very friendly and seems to love everyone that he meets. Since he's still a young fellow, he has some puppy energy and is working on paw-fecting his manners. Ruger is food motivated so it should be easy to teach him some new tricks. He lived with another dog and would enjoy having a buddy again.
One-year-old Garfield is a friendly, chatty boy on the hunt for his forever home. When he's not hanging out and playing with his feline friends at the shelter, he loves to perch way up high and take a big nap. Garfield also enjoys food and head scratches. His perfect home would be one where all the humans are willing to give him a little time to bond with them.
