Jason L. Shoenberger, 45, of New Tripoli, died unexpectedly Oct. 13, 2023, in his home.

He and his wife, Karie A. (Rupert) Shoenberger, were married 10 years in January.

Born May 3, 1978, in Palmerton, he was the son of Elaine (Solt) Shoenberger and her companion, Michael Aniskevich, of Lehighton.

He was a mechanic at Hanna’s Auto Works, Allentown, for many years.

He loved to ride his motorcycle, work on cars and spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a stepdaughter Kailey E. Frable and her fiancé, Jonathan M. Haas, of New Tripoli; stepson Justin J. Frable and his wife, Nichole, of Slatington; brother Michael Shoenberger and his wife, Pam of Palmerton; grandchildren, Brayden, Aubrey and one on the way in May 2024; and large extended family.

He was predeceased by a stepson, Chase E. Frable.

A private funeral service will be held at Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Schnecksville.

There will be no public calling hours.
