Q. In what grade are you currently enrolled?
A. I am a senior at Salisbury High School.
Q. Who is in your family? Please provide the first names of your family members: parents, siblings and pets.
A. My family consists of my parents, my two sisters and our dog named Becca.
Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?
A. My favorite subject is science because I find it interesting. I’m taking anatomy this year and I love it. Chemistry was also super fun.
Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A. I am a member of National Honor Society.
Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?
A. This year I am volunteering at St. Luke’s through the Emerging Health Professionals program.
Q. What is your next goal after high school?
A. I am planning to go to school for nursing.
Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?
A. A couple of years ago I had spinal fusion surgery and the recovery was very long and difficult. Adjusting back to school and sports after that experience was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.
Q. For what would you like to be remembered?
A. I would like to be remembered as someone who made a positive impact on the lives of my patients.
Q. Whom do you admire? Why?
A. I admire all the health care workers out there who make a real difference in the lives of people through their kindness and selflessness.
Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?
A. Don’t hesitate to ask for help.
