Catasauqua Area School District’s Catasauqua Community Cares Program is collecting new and gently used coats, hats and gloves for its Nov. 18 distribution. Any donations can be dropped off 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the district office, 201 N. 14th St.

All sizes are welcome, and monetary donations are also accepted, with checks made payable to CASD/C3P.

Powerballers tryouts will be Nov. 11-12. Students may pick either date, and only one tryout is required.

10-12U is scheduled for 9-11 a.m.; 13-14U will be 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.; and 15-17U takes place 2-4 p.m. Register at powerballersbaseball.com.
