Raymond E. Garrison, 82, of Northampton, died Oct. 8, 2023, at Heather Glen Senior Living, Allentown. He was the husband of Christine “Tina” (Sharkazy) Garrison for 58 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Herbert and Mary (Hacker) Garrison.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He was employed by Lafarge Cement Company for 34 years before he retired in 2004.

He was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

He was a life member of Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association, Petersville Rod and Gun Club, Alliance Fire Company and National Rifle Association of America.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three brothers, Richard and wife Jean of Catasauqua, Herbert Jr. of Coplay and William and wife Henrietta of Port Charlotte, Fla.; and a sister, Mary Ann and husband Bruce Breisch of Northampton.

He was predeceased by a brother, Anthony; and two sisters, Rose Schmidt and Angela.
