Nancy J. Miller, 69, of Allentown, died Oct. 11, 2023, in the inpatient unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of the Rev. Carey L. Miller for 46 years.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. Jr. and Moria K. (Kelly) Scott.

She was a 1971 Whitehall High School graduate. She continued at Lehigh Carbon Community College and Kutztown University and earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary education.

She was for 20 years an instructional assistant for Northampton Area School District and at Lutheran Archives Center, Philadelphia.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She was the scorekeeper for Northampton Area High School and club swim teams for more than 15 years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Scott and wife Madlen and Joshua; a daughter, Kelly Whitt and husband Robert; six grandchildren, Oliver, Charlton, Archer, Emilia, Thea and William; two brothers, Thomas Scott and Steven Scott and wife Eileen; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Grayson.

There will be a calling time 9-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., Oct. 21 at the church, 8227 Hamilton Blvd., Breinigsville.
