James W. Finley, 75, of Northampton, died Oct. 12, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital after a battle with cancer. He was the husband of Helen M. (Schuyler) Finley for 53 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Errold and Ethel (Miller) Finley.

He was a Catasauqua High School graduate.

He was in the U.S. Army and spent a year in Vietnam.

He worked for Western Union. He owned and operated Micro Cottage Computers, Whitehall. He retired as head of IT at ARC Maintenance after many years of service.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Christopher and wife Tammy and Matthew and husband Christopher Weisel; and two granddaughters, Madison and Julia.

There will be a calling hour 10-11 a.m., followed by a memorial service 11 a.m., Oct. 21 at the funeral home, 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua.
