Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., West Catasauqua, will be holding bingo Oct. 22. The start time is 1 p.m., with doors opening noon.
Bingo will continue with tricky tray, 50/25/25 raffle, piggy number, lightning game, etc. There will be refreshments available for purchase.
Bring a nonperishable food item for the Whitehall Food Pantry.

The music ministry at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will host the Parkland High School Strolling Strings, under the direction of Brian Mischler, 2 p.m. Oct. 22 in the sanctuary.
Enjoy an afternoon of music, followed by a reception in Fox Hall.

Whitehall Township will hold its Halloween parade 7 p.m. Oct. 26. It will begin in the At Home parking lot on MacArthur Road, continue west down Schadt Avenue to Campus Drive and will travel in and around Whitehall-Coplay’s School District campus.
Refreshments, located at the Schadt Avenue Park and Playground parking lot, will be provided by several food trucks, including Caribbean Island Cuisine, The Flying Deutschman, Hoff’s Kettle Corn and Vince’s Cheesesteaks.
The annual bonfire will commence at the conclusion of the parade, near the parking lot of the football stadium. Entertainment will be provided by Crippled Moonshine.

Trick or treat in the township will be 6-8 p.m. Oct. 27. The rain date is Oct. 28.
