Red Ribbon Week will be held Oct. 23-27 at CMS. The goal of Red Ribbon Week is to raise awareness and increase education about the dangers of substance abuse and to keep kids drug free.
Each day of the week will feature a different dress-up theme: sock it to drugs by wearing crazy socks Oct. 23; wear sports jerseys and socks Oct. 24 to team up against drugs; wear mismatched clothes Oct. 25 so you don’t get mixed up in drugs; wear red Oct. 26 to make really excellent decisions to stay away from drugs; and wear Halloween costumes Oct. 27 for the Boo Bash.
Costumes cannot contain a mask, look-a-like weapons or studded spikes. It must be school appropriate, abide by the dress code and must not cause a disruption in class.

Eighth-grade students will tour Lehigh Career and Technical Institute 8:30-10:30 a.m. Oct. 24.

There will be early dismissal Oct. 25. CMS students will be dismissed 12:20 p.m.

Picture retake day will be held Oct. 30. Pictures must be returned before ordering a retake picture.
