Burt R. Schutt, 53, of Northampton, died Sept. 30, 2023.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Thomas J. and Patricia A. (Laubach) Schutt.

He was a home-based registered nurse with the U.S. Department of Foreign Affairs, Wilkes- Barre, and served area veterans for the past three years. He worked for Maximum Home Health Care, Whitehall, for 25 years.

He spent time with Veterans of Foreign Wars and social club members.

He is survived by two sons, Theodore and companion Gwynn and Benjamin and their mother Andrea, all of Florida; three brothers, Patrick with Jenn of Whitehall, John with Tina of Gettysburg and Thomas with Eleanor of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Cathy Gigon with John of Jacksonville, Fla.; nieces; and nephews.
