Bath: Basket raffle set for Oct. 20-22

Bath American Legion Post 470, 278 Race St., will be having a basket raffle 5-9 p.m. Oct. 20, noon-6 p.m. Oct. 21 and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 22. The drawing will take place 4 p.m. Oct. 22. You do not have to be present to win.

There will be baskets for women and men, gift cards and a 50-inch Roku TV.

Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Governor Wolf Historical Society, 6600 Jacksonville Road, will be holding tours 1-3 p.m. Oct. 21 and Nov. 18 of its historic buildings, grounds and the new museum. No reservations are needed.

These events will pick up again the third Saturday of the month starting April 2024.

The Bath Museum, 121 S. Walnut St., will be open to the public 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 21.

Volunteers are needed. Call 484-284-0313 if interested.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will be having a family game night 6 p.m. Oct. 21. Bring your favorite game, a snack to share and a friend. Everyone is welcome.

Keystone Rod and Gun Club, 243 Mulberry St., will be having a sportsman’s night raffle 6-10 p.m. Oct. 21.

Doors open 5 p.m. Prizes include a Bergara B14 308, 11 guns, four money prizes and hourly door prizes. You must be present to win, and photo ID is required.

There will be refreshments and one meal per person.

Tickets will be available at the door.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church will be having a Miller-Keystone Blood Center blood drive 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 28.

Sign-up sheets are located in the gathering area and fellowship hall.

All donors must present valid ID with first and last name, photo and/or signature.

Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive, will be having a designer purse bingo Oct. 28.

Doors open 11 a.m., and bingo starts 1 p.m.

The fire company is looking for donations of door prizes and tricky trays.

Christ United Church of Christ, 109 S. Chestnut St., is having a ham and bean dinner, for takeout only, 4-6 p.m. Oct. 29. There are two meal sizes. The menu includes ham, potatoes, string beans and dinner roll with choice of applesauce or coleslaw and mini cherry or pumpkin pie.

Trick-or-treat night has been set for 6-7 p.m. Oct. 27 for Chapman Borough and 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31 in Bath. Have fun and be safe, all you ghosts and goblins!
