Kaiser’s House of Horrors is baaaaaack

After a one year hiatus because of his mother’s passing, Jeff Kaiser’s gigantic Halloween display, ‘Kaiser’s House of Horrors,’ is up and running this Halloween.

“She passed away and I didn’t feel like doing anything,” Kaiser said, “even though she wanted me to decorate. She liked helping to set up the little details.”

Kaiser has been doing his Halloween display on the lawn of their North Boulevard home since 2002, and he keeps everything in a 10-by-20 storage unit and at his residence.

There are some new features this year. Frankenstein has a bride, Cousin Itt now has Morticia Addams at his side, and three shelves have human heads in jars.

Kaiser says it’s nice to be back, “I really missed it last year.” He also noted that many people out walking their dogs change their routes so they can pass by the display. “People missed it and many have expressed their condolences.”
