PRESS PHOTO BY DANA GRUBB Sherwood and Elaine Kindred celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary Oct. 8 with family and friends joining them at Country Meadows. The Kindreds were married in College Hill Moravian Church on Oct. 9, 1948, and resided in Hanover Township for many years before retiring and moving to the Poconos after his career at Bethlehem Furnace and PPL and hers as an office manager for several Bethlehem doctors. About 15 years ago they moved back to the Bethlehem area. They are parents to three children, Sherwood and his wife Petrina, John and his wife Deborah and Beverly and her husband Stephen Nehilla, have five grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
