The 2023 Boutique at the Rink set a record $300,000 in sales during this past May’s event held at the City of Bethlehem’s Earl E. Schaffer Municipal Ice Rink. Proceeds benefit three cancer related entities; Cancer Support Community Greater Lehigh Valley, St. Luke’s Cancer Center and St. Luke’s Hospice.
Two of the Boutique co-chairs, Carol Jacoby and Barbara Vinci, delivered a $100,000 check to CSCGLV Sept 10. St. Luke’s Cancer Center and Hospice are receiving similar disbursements.
Accepting the check were Executive Director Gina Stano, accountant Michelle Beil and Marketing and Development Manager Jen Gibb. They said the Boutique at the Rink contribution is a large part of their funding, which is used for programming things like support, education and handling stress for those individuals and their families as they deal with cancer.
“All programs are free of charge to anyone impacted by cancer,” said Gibb.
