The Parkland cross country teams both went 3-0 in last week’s meet, which was hosted by Liberty.
The Trojan boys team beat Liberty and Bethlehem Catholic by 15-50 scores, while taking down Freedom 21-40 to improve to 11-1 this season.
Parkland placed its top five runners in the top seven places as Freedom’s Dylan Boyle won the boys race and was followed by five Trojans. Ethan Willard led Parkland with teammates Paul Abeln, Jake Barnes and Tyler Rothrock behind him and Marcelo Castilla one place back in seventh.
The Parkland girls beat Bethlehem Catholic and Freedom by 15-50 scores while defeating Liberty 17-45 to get to 11-1 this season.
The Trojans had three of the top four runners in the race, while placing their top five all within the top nine finishers.
Freedom’s Anya Johns won the race with Parkland’s Gracie Trexler, Lucy Tobia and Harshita Keerthi finishing third through fifth, respectively. Parkland’s Marley Boyle finished seventh overall and Abby Bender rounded out the team score in ninth place.
Both Parkland teams went 2-1 at a meet on Sept. 26. The Trojan boys beat Northampton and Nazareth by 15-50 scores, while falling to Easton 25-30.
The Trojan girls beat Nazareth 15-50 and Northampton 18-48 but fell to Easton 25-35.
