To the Editor:

South Whitehall has been on a positive trajectory under the leadership of Board President Diane Kelly.

Diane has led with grace, respect and integrity.

She made promises to her community and has kept each promise made: she helped guide the Comprehensive Plan and zoning ordinances toward safe, lawful and balanced growth, ensured the 10-year, past-due, state-required audits were completed on time, participated in a rigorous, responsible budget process, and supported our first responders to keep them and our community safe.

This year, South Whitehall had a timely, clean audit report, both our Comprehensive Plan and Parks, Recreation, Open Space and Trails Plan were adopted, and the SWT budget is balanced.

Diane was instrumental in appointing our exceptional township manager.

She is responsive to residents and supports our local small businesses.

Diane has earned the trust of her community by keeping her promises and will continue to do so throughout the next four years as there is more work to be done.

Her vision of a safe and healthy community, balanced growth, transparency, and accountability is shared by Jacob Roth and Chris Peischl.

We need Diane, Jacob and Chris to continue the momentum and serve our community with honesty, transparency and respect.
