To the Editor:

Voting Nov. 7 in East Penn? I will certainly vote for the Your Voice on The Board slate. Local groups are responsible for circulating materials that indicate that “Your Voice on the Board” are extremists which is an absolute lie!

Facts about Defend Slate of (Levinson, Jankowski, Ford, Klotz):

•Communication failures from the acting board members. Lower Macungie Middle School is on the state’s TSI list of February 2023. Levinson and Jankowski failed to mention this to constituents before the primary for personal gain.

•Extremism, as Ford actively protested in the BLM in Emmaus but is part of a conservative religious organization. Her actions are contradictory as the BLM is not inclusive. Whereas, her church preaches love for all. Additionally, aligns herself with the LGBTQ community but again her church does not recognize these marriage practices.

•Two-year district resident, Klotz, promotes equity and inclusion, however, also discredits the voice of the district taxpayer. “You don’t have kids in the district so why are you weighing in on masking?”

All community members, keep these facts in mind. If you believe in accountability, transparency and leadership, I implore you to vote for Schneider, DePaolo, Huyssen, Barbehenn.
