Moore Township: Moore Township Historical Commission plans Octoberfest
Moore Township Historical Commission is planning its annual Octoberfest for 5 p.m. Oct. 12 at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive.
The group will meet 7 p.m. Oct. 31 at the municipal building, 2491 Community Drive.

Moore Township Lioness-Lions Club is hosting a Harvest Time penny party Oct. 15 at the Klecknersville fire company.
Doors open 11:30 a.m., and the game will begin 1 p.m. All ages are welcome.
There will be games of chance, door prizes, a Thanksgiving dinner, basket raffle and a tricky tray. Bring your pennies or buy them at the party.
The kitchen will be open throughout the event, including homemade baked goods for purchase.

Christ United Church of Christ, Little Moore, 913 S. Mink Road, Danielsville, has a walk-in gift card bingo Oct. 15.
Doors open 11:30 a.m., and bingo starts 1 p.m.
Admission includes two game boards and three special games.
The kitchen will be open.
Seating is limited.

The township recreation committee will meet 7 p.m. Oct. 19 at the recreation center, 635 English Road.

There will be prizes, a progressive jackpot, rob the piggy bank, washline bingo and lots of fun.

The Moore Township Community Days committee is seeking additional members. The committee is planning the 2024 event.
