CONTRIBUTED PHOTO Members of Girl Scout Troop 871 and their leaders - Kathi Nemeth, Brandy Heffintrayer, Angie Teleky, Kristen Morey and Tonia Biechy - gather recently for a group photo at the new monarch butterfly waystation at Northampton's Canal Street Park. The troop will be the waystation's caretakers next year during the butterfly season. The girls will be working with Sharon Schell, known to some as “The Butterfly Lady,” to learn about the importance of monarchs and other pollinators. The troop meets at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1904 Main St., Northampton.
