Frederick A. Hines Jr., 67, of Catasauqua, died Oct. 5, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill.

He was a son of Althea Mae (Moll) Hines of Carrollton, Ga., and the late Frederick A. Hines Sr.

He was in the U.S. Navy.

He worked in boiler maintenance at various hospitals until he retired.

He formerly attended Our Fathers House, Catasauqua.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Jeremy of Virginia; a daughter, Sarah Sexton of Virginia; two sisters, Joyce E. Bachman and husband Dale of Allentown and Rebecca S. Carwell and husband Jeffrey of Georgia; two grandchildren; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews.
