Egypt Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7293, 5209 Springmill Road, will host a concert 3 p.m. Oct. 14 featuring Kevin Miller’s Classic Kings and guitarist John Cannavo.

Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 4456 Main St., Egypt, will be holding its annual basket party 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Oct. 14 and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 15. There is a time reserved for guests with disabilities - 9-10 a.m. Oct. 14.
Homemade food will be served throughout the event.
Ticket sales will close 1 p.m. Oct. 15, and the drawing begins 2 p.m. You don’t need to be present to win.

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church’s youth group will begin its nut roll fundraiser Oct. 15, with delivery Nov. 12. Choose nut, poppy seed, lekvar, apricot, seedless raspberry or pumpkin cheese.

Laurel Fire Company, 5114 Third St., Cementon, will hold a breakfast 8-11:30 a.m. Oct. 15. The menu includes plain scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, sausage, corn beef hash, cream chipped beef with biscuit, plain pancakes, pancakes with chocolate chips, toast, coffee, chocolate milk, apple juice and water.

Egypt Memorial Park, 4548 Main St., is buzzing with activity this fall.
The park will be hosting youth field hockey games all day Oct. 15. Come out to cheer for your favorite player.
A country line dancing lesson will be offered 6-8 p.m. Oct. 18. There is a cost. Wear a Halloween costume to receive a ticket for a chance to win a door prize.
Join your friends and neighbors for a fall barbecue dinner 4-6 p.m. Nov. 5 by Bad Bones BBQ. Menu choices include barbecue chicken or pulled pork sandwich, pasta salad and parsley potatoes. Beverages and a bake sale will be available.

The Ironton Rail Trail fall historical walk has been scheduled for 9 a.m. Oct. 21. The walk begins at the Whitehall Parkway barn, 4041 Chestnut St.
Allow four hours to complete the 7-mile walk, which includes stops at several historical sites and landmarks. The trail is an even surface of asphalt or packed millings. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water.

Whitehall Lions Club’s annual luminaria fundraiser has begun. Light up your neighborhood with the warm glow of luminarias this holiday season.
Luminaria kit orders must be received by Nov. 4 and will be delivered the week of Dec. 4.
Proceeds will benefit families affected by pediatric cancer.
