Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, 210 Pine St., will be offering its monthly free community lunch 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 16. Come on out for some great food and camaraderie with fellow residents.

The Morning Glories of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church will next meet 10 a.m. Oct. 16.

The speaker is from Bloom for Women. Collections for the month include tissues, toilet paper, women’s razors, all-purpose cleaner, multi-service cleaners such as Pine Sol, disinfectant spray, toilet bowel cleaner, spiral notebooks, dish soap, liquid hand soap, air freshener, deodorant and gift cards.

The Friends of Catasauqua Parks will next meet 6:30 p.m. Oct. 18 at borough hall, 90 Bridge St. The group meets the third Wednesday of each month.

The mission of the group is to improve the quality of life of Catasauqua residents through recreational fundraising events to sustain the parks.

New volunteers and members are always needed. There are no cost or dues to join this group.
