The Moravian University men’s tennis squad topped host DeSales University, 7-2, in nonconference action Sunday afternoon.

Junior Wyatt Marshall (Liberty HS) and sophomore Ryan Burke (Glen Rock, N.J.) earned an 8-4 victory at second doubles. Junior Anthony Ronca (Liberty HS) and sophomore Shayaan Farhad (Liberty HS) finished the sweep with an 8-6 triumph at first doubles.

The Hounds picked up four wins in singles action to secure the win. Farhad posted a 6-4, 6-4 victory at first singles. Freshman Gavin Labbadia (Freedom HS) posting a 6-4, 6-0 triumph at fourth singles.

The team fell to Muhlenberg College, 8-1, in nonconference action to start the 2023-24 season at Hoffman Courts Wednesday.

Moravian earned its only point of the afternoon when Labbadia (Freedom HS) led off the singles action with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at sixth singles.

Womens
