Thomas J. Sidor, 49, of Hillsborough, N.C., died Aug. 24, 2023, after a seven-month battle with cancer. He was the husband of Cici (Ton) Sidor for 21 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Thomas D. and Linda Sidor, of Northampton.

He was a 1992 Northampton High School graduate. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kutztown University in 1998.

He held a 20-year career at the city of Raleigh, N.C., as a financial professional across multiple departments, including public utilities, IT, parks, recreation and cultural resources.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a son, Evan of Hillsborough; a daughter, Erin in California; maternal grandmother, Kathryn Strohl of Walnutport; a sister, Jillian and her husband Jeffrey; a nephew, Lincoln of Little Elm, Texas; a niece, Livia of Little Elm, Texas; aunts; uncles; cousins; in-laws, Lo and Yenco Ton of Durham, N.C.; sisters-in-law; and brothers-in-law.

He was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Joseph and Hilda (Seiler) Sidor; a maternal grandfather, Howard Strohl; an infant brother, Zachary Paul; and a cousin, Mark.
