An Allentown motorist escaped injury when his sport utility vehicle flipped in a one-vehicle crash along the on-ramp to Interstate 78 West near mile marker 59.0 in Salisbury Township 5:21 p.m. Aug. 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The 57-year-old motorist was traveling west on the wet roadway as he entered I-78 from Rock Road when he apparently lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle flipped end over end and landed on the northern shoulder of the road, according to authorities.
