DUI

A 30-year-old female, of Whitehall, allegedly was driving under the influence near the intersection of North Short Street and Main Street, Emmaus borough, 2:41 a.m. Aug. 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Burglary

Someone broke in the front window of Luxury Nails, 750 N. Krocks Road, Suite 204, Lower Macungie Township, to remove an automated teller machine sometime between 7 p.m. Sept. 21 and 7 a.m. Sept. 22, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Damage to the window was estimated at $1,500. The machine, described as a gray Hyosung model, was valued at $2,400. Approximately $1,450 also was stolen. The total loss amounted to $5,350, according to authorities.

Retail theft

A 25-year-old female and a 19-year-old female, both of Philadelphia, allegedly removed $392 in designer fragrances from retailer Ulta Beauty, 833 N. Krocks Road, Suite 103, Lower Macungie Township, 3:29 p.m. Sept. 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The women allegedly took Versace perfume, valued at $96, Carolina Herrera perfume, valued at $144 and Prada perfume, valued at $152, according to authorities.

Three people allegedly removed $255 worth of Yves Saint Laurent fragrances from retailer Ulta Beauty, 833 N. Krocks Road, Suite 103, Lower Macungie Township, 8:45 p.m. Aug. 24, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 36-year-old female, of Allentown, allegedly removed six clothing items, with a total value of $66.88, from retailer Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:35 p.m. Sept. 13, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 30-year old female, of Macungie, allegedly under-rang $213 worth of merchandise at retailer Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:17 p.m. Sept. 2, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Theft from vehicle

A Pennsylvania license plate was removed from a vehicle parked along Buckeye Road, Upper Milford Township, between Aug. 10 and Sept. 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The plate displays the registration ZJZ 1513, according to authorities.

Theft

Three firearms were stolen from a residence along Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Troopers responded to the location around 10:43 a.m. Aug. 21. The missing guns include at least one pistol and one revolver.

A wallet and $40 cash were removed from a location along Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 2 p.m. Aug. 22, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Someone removed $149 cash from a locked cabinet at a location on Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, sometime between 2 p.m. Aug. 19 and 11:30 a.m. Aug. 21, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A trash can was removed from a residence along Cassel Road, Lower Milford Township, sometime between Aug. 19 and Aug. 22, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The trash can was valued at $50.

Twenty dollars in digital currency was taken from a resident of Vera Cruz Road, Upper Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Aug. 25.

A doorbell home security camera was removed from a residence along Grange Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 1:50 p.m. and 2 p.m. Sept. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The camera was valued at $100.

Harassment

A 33-year-old male, of Allentown, was cited for harassment after allegedly touching another employee at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 29-year-old male, of Macungie, was taken into custody for allegedly striking another person in the face at a location on Hauser Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:01 p.m. Sept. 21. The male also had an active warrant issued by Allentown police and was cited for disorderly conduct, according to authorities.

Someone allegedly followed a person into his workplace along Alburtis Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:30 a.m. July 26 to complain about his vehicle exhaust, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Hit and run accident

A vehicle went off the road along North Walnut Street, Lower Macungie Township, early Aug. 21, striking a mailbox, landscaping features and large shrubs at a residence in the 5600 block, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicle was eastbound when the motorist lost control on a curve and went off the road and into the side yard of the residence at approximately 5:15 a.m. The motorist abandoned the vehicle, described as a 2008 Mercedes-Benz in a news release from state police, at the crash scene and fled on foot toward the borough of Macungie. Yocum Towing and Recovery also responded.

A large truck got tangled in overhead wires, snapping two telephone poles and a traffic signal along Saint Peters Road, Upper Milford Township, 4:59 a.m. Sept. 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The truck, described as a tri-axle by authorities, was eastbound in the area of Chestnut Street at the time of the accident. The truck fled the scene. Responding agencies also included the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, PPL Electric Utilities and Upper Milford Township.

Theft of services

Two people ordered and consumed pasta and drinks, valued at $82.37, at the restaurant Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, 750 N. Krocks Road, Suite 208, Lower Macungie Township and left without paying their bill 1:50 p.m. Sept. 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The couple left in a 2021 black Nissan compact SUV, according to authorities.

Scam

A resident of Millbrook Drive, Lower Macungie Township, was swindled into wiring $49,200 to an unknown person, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 9:51 a.m. Sept. 15.

Simple trespass

A 47-year-old female, of Macungie, allegedly violated a no trespass order and arrived at the Brookside Deli and Shell gas station, 1915 Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:59 p.m. Sept. 24, where she allegedly began videotaping someone at the location, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

DUI accident

A 61-year-old male, of Macungie, allegedly was driving under the influence at the time of a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Route 100 and Willow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 12:35 a.m. Sept. 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
