Sally L. Stair, 85, formerly of Lower Macungie Township, died peacefully Sept. 29, 2023. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Stair before his death in 2022. Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Pauline (Yontz) Sutton.

She was employed as a clerk at Burton Laudenslager Insurance Agency in Emmaus until retirement.

She was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd UCC, Alburtis and a former active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus, where she was the financial secretary of Northwood Cemetery for many years.

She is survived by sons, Keith and his wife, Bea, Mark and his wife, Michelle; son-in-law, Edward Pfenninger; grandchildren, Ashley, Heather, Matthew, Mackenzie, Joshua, Spencer, Samuel and Sophia; eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughter, Wendy Pfenninger; grandson, Tyler.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Oct. 6 at the Church of the Good Shepherd UCC, 135 Quarry St., Alburtis, 18011. A viewing will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Oct. 6 in the church. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
