Moore Elementary School’s school pride day is Oct. 6. Show off your Moore colors and attire. Then on Oct. 13, wear pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The Northampton Area High School homecoming dance is scheduled for 7-10 p.m. Oct. 7.

There is no school for students Oct. 9. Teachers and staff will have an in-service.

The Northampton Area Middle School PTA group has its monthly meeting set for 6-7 p.m. Oct. 10.

Fall picture retake days are planned for Oct. 11 at NAHS; Nov. 1 at Lehigh Elementary School; Nov. 2 at Moore Elementary; and Nov. 3 at George Wolf Elementary School.

These days are for students who missed their original picture days.

The Northampton Borough PTA group will hold its meeting 4-5 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Siegfried building.

On Oct. 12, NAMS will hold Soups and Scoops, an Empty Bowls event, 5:30-7:30 p.m. The event is a fundraiser to help the hungry.

Enjoy soups and ice cream in a handcrafted bowl. There will also be basket raffles, games and activities.

Tickets can be purchased at the event.
