Dale “Bub” E. Erwin, 70, of Coplay, died Sept. 24, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of the late Bonita “Bonnie” Erwin.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Edwin and Gloria (Boger) Erwin.

He was a Catasauqua High School graduate.

He was employed as a birch beer maker with Banko Beverage.

He volunteered as a coach for the Northampton Athletic Association football program for 30 years. He was a member of Northampton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4714.

He is survived by two sons, Kyle D. and Justin J. and wife Maryann; a granddaughter, Kasey; a brother-in-law, Jim Reed and wife Janet; and two nephews, Jonathan Reed and wife Heather and Jim Reed and wife Chelsea.

He was predeceased by a sister, Diane Sofka.
