Ruby G. Dietrich, 100, of Allentown, formerly of Macungie, died peacefully Sept. 25, 2023, in Luther Crest Skilled Nursing Home, South Whitehall.

She was the widow of Harold O. Dietrich, who died in 1995.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Emory C. and Rose T. (Koverick) Knecht, and was lovingly raised by John and Ellen Bond.

An avid walker, she loved Word Search, bingo and the Game Show Network, especially the shows Chain Reaction and Cash Cab.

She was a member of New Bethel Church, Kempton.

Her survivors include several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters Arlene Hockman and Joyce Meckes.

Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Sept. 29 in Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli.

Calling hour begins 9:30 a.m.

Interment in New Bethel Union Cemetery, Kempton. Pastor Randy Bond will officiate.
